Recently did this build and love it so much I'm going to do a premium build with upgraded components.

What can you guys recommend for the following;

Resistors (need to be 1/4W or 1/2W, previously used metal film)
2 pcs 10uF 25V capacitors (these are the supply caps)
2 pcs 100pF 50V capacitors
Transistors – previously used 2pcs BD139 and 2pcs BD140
Hookup wire for the power supply to the headamp pcb (previously just used some scrap 1mm copper wire)
Signal wire for the inputs to the board, for the board to the outputs (previously just used some scrap 1mm copper wire)
Opamp (previously used OPA2134, note the output is heavily biased into Class A)

And that about does it! Any ideas would be ace!

Why not build something new? It has consistently been my experience that building a different circuit brings more new sound to the table than tweaking the old one. If nothing else you'll learn new things and all that good stuff.

A PPA would be my guess for something close but nicer. I could not find a schematic for what you have

so I guess I cant say for sure.

OK schematic attached.

yeah I did think about doing a different project, but I have some gear left over and the pcb is dirt cheap so I thought it would be a good sound experiment. What sort of caps would you recommend using?

Switching in different caps will make little to no difference in that circuit. I second nikongod's recommendation to build something new.
