* PEAK               20Hz  1.00dB Q2.00
* PEAK               32Hz  2.50dB Q0.50
* PEAK               34Hz  1.00dB Q1.20
* PEAK               85Hz  2.00dB Q1.90
* LOW SHELF         100Hz  1.00dB Q1.00
* PEAK              140Hz  1.00dB Q1.90
* PEAK              240Hz  3.00dB Q1.90
* PEAK              760Hz  4.00dB Q1.20
* PEAK             2400Hz  2.00dB Q2.00
* PEAK             3600Hz  1.50dB Q0.50

* PEAK             9000Hz  4.00dB Q2.00
* HIGH SHELF      14000Hz  4.00dB Q3.00

This new EQ setting should retain the original sound but tame down the treble to make the listening experience easier on the ears. The mid-range sounds quite thick this way.

Are making those EQs while using impedance adapters? According to some those change the sound signature.

Thanks for sharing your Dragonscale experience!

I ordered it during anniversary sale and it landed safely. Dragonscale when paired with DTE500 and H570 does beat Anole VX and Neon Pro for upper air region performance😄🙌

That EIVEC thingy is not just marketing words, it does actually power more energy into upper registers where I used to say “sonion EST is very detailed but the timbre is too soft and low energy “, not anymore.

Now I know why so many people loves EE ODIN.
NiceHCK flagship cable Dragonscale,
Purchased during anniversary sale at $128 from NiceHCK official store:
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKTnlXY

Worth it?
—Yes. Abundance of information, extremely neutral with slight 2khz 0.5db ish highlights and 1db of 10khz+ floor raise.

I’m using on DTE500 and Neon Pro, and find it matches to both, neutral and crisp, no specific unnatural emphasis, increased gain levels across all bands with very nice feeling of breathable air. I feel this Dragonscale is par with PW Audio’s Copper M2, the MEST MKII’s stock cable (Sold separately around $530usd ).

Anyway, great to know NiceHCK offers high quality cable at fraction of the asking that other cable brands offers.

Since I believe cable is the very last niche section that a certain audio enthusiast would ever touch, spending this much of money on a cable sounds crazy. For $130, you can almost but Sound Rhyme SR5, a proper great IEM, yet I didn’t buy another IEM and decided to spent on cable, it actually returned more satisfaction on investment than another IEM findings, because Dragonscale enriched already TOTL sounding DTE500 and Neon Pro to further horizon.

—DTE500 upgrade
When I did A-T test for DTE500, it was not performing well with stock cable, however with Linsoul EST, and further more this NiceHCK flagship, DTE500 image positioning suddenly cranked up. Timbre wise I find Linsoul EST has a warmer and very gentle match with DTE500 better, but from pure technical standpoint Dragonscale puts DTE500 to Anole VX and Neon Pro beater when it comes to upper registers….wow.
I have Sennheiser’s HE-1’ predecessor, Unipolar Elecret Headphone, and DTE500 x Dragonscale x H570 sounds very similar. I’m pretty amazed an energetic EST can sound this much.
As a qdc tuning fan, I may have found my endgame.

Highly recommendable as your endgame cable material👍

It's a fantastic cable for the price, futhermore, its a great looking cable. I need to try it on the SR8 and DET500 when it arrives from Penon. Bang for the buck is what i enjoy about thus hobby besides the music.

Listened SR05mod:
1) the mids are quite strongly forced, even the filter that I did does not save. There are a lot of them and because of the abundance - the sound becomes blurred, which is fatal for electronic genres, but rather goes for metal;
2) high frequencies with a filter sound an order of magnitude better - they do not cut, they are in the background, but at the same time they have good weight and impact.

My opinion is that the manufacturer should reduce the mid frequencies even more (put a 10 Ohm resistor and a capacitor in parallel) and just add a filter to high frequencies and that's it.
Stock sound so-so IMHO. (source QLS QA361 se out)

Waiting for my DTE500 (2 weeks needed) :)
