Yes of course. I'm new to this hobby and this is the first time I'm investing a considerable amount of money. I did some research and I have a friend in china, so I thought of buying directly from taobao. If you are looking EST model that has proven performance, Thieaudio Monarch MKII, or Moondrop Variations shall do their job.
SR5 is a better choice though, it‘s almost par with Variation with a fraction of the price.

Why did I ever buy an Tansio Mirai Sands? I barely need it when I have the SR5. Thinking about using the Sands for mobile audio only now. It still sounds very good with super high resolution. Then there is the SR5 which can handle every record I could find that even highly resolving In Ears cannot handle.
This record here on Tidal is a perfect example. It is difficult to listen to on most IEMs, even when they have high resolution. A select few very well tuned IEMs (IMR Splash of Gold, etc.) can play this album in a fun and engaging way. SR5 is even better at this task.

The SR5 sounds like an amazing find! How bright is it? I’m very treble sensitive so am worried whether the clarity might seem harsh.
A Russian language review (through Google translate) described the SR3 as similar to the SR5, but with more mids and less treble. Has anyone here tried it?

SR5 sounds fully balanced. Meaning the highest point in the treble is as loud as the sub-bass. So I would compare it to the treble in a balanced/harman set.The SR5 sounds like an amazing find! How bright is it? I’m very treble sensitive so am worried whether the clarity might seem harsh.
