How the filters works. Can you share the link of these?waiting for some technic tips with filter, these things arrived
After seeing some terrible EQ recommendations for the Sony WF-1000XM5 online, I'd thought I'd use my account I haven't used in years here (see that join date lol)
Been 'in the game' too long and I was annoyed at those people not using an EQ to y'know, equalise.
Please use this instead
Based off:
the Soundguys Headphone preference curve vs the WF-1000XM5
Sony Clearbass setting frequency response graph
A/B comparison with KALI AUDIO LP-8 speakers, which do not deviate in frequency response based on speaker angle, height and room acoustics much vs other speakers, whilst being intended for studio monitoring.
Yes, due to how Sony Clear Bass behaves and the WF-1000XM5's deviation from the Soundguys curve, you have to compensate for it by lowering the setting, which increases the sub bass, as the mid and high bass isn't masking it anymore and it flows right through to 400Hz, conveniently the first frequency setting on the EQ.
k thx bye.

Sucks, sorry to hear, but honest mistakeJust in case anyone was wondering, no the XM5s will not survive the washing machine and dryer.
Thanks for "testing" and informing - sorry for your lossJust in case anyone was wondering, no the XM5s will not survive the washing machine and dryer.
That happened with my Technics. I sent them in under warrenty and I got a new pair, no questions askedJust in case anyone was wondering, no the XM5s will not survive the washing machine and dryer.
I bet you Sony will do it, just say they stopped working. Not that went for a spin. Good luck.Worth a try! Unfortunately, I paid using my Paypal Credit account so no purchase protection. I did buy an Allstate warranty but specifically states no accidental damage, spills etc. I'll start with Sony.

Or you can try purchase protection from your credit card
