I've been doing the maths for the likes of pricejapan and other Japanese middlemen and a Japanese version will still come in at around £520 all in so for once the UK price of £549 isn't a huge rip off. I can't for the life of me pre-order from Sony though. What a truly useless website.

Accessory-Jack will do you a deal on Customs but you will have to ask before you purchase, the actual price incl shipping is £455 not sure about tracking but will probably be EMS.

Prices must have gone up then. There's a 2500 yen bank transfer fee or 3.5% for paypal and the lowest they'll mark the value is 12000 yen. Total would be £500 + duty.

What would you say is the best iem to pair with zx1 in your collection???
I think I read a thread a few pages that someone prefer zx1 with jh13 (I have) over 901 or some other players, I forgot.

The ZX1 is at its best with my SE5. And it sounds great with the 846 that I do not own...yet.

Yea, ZX1 and 846 is the great pair for EDM.

I also found the charges kept increasing with paypal fee and other charges if using the recommended courier when I was about to order. If hit with a £35 Customs charge it was exceeding the UK fee so decided to wait.

 - and I can confirm that both Apple Lossless and AIFF work just fine in all their gapless beauty.

Yea, ZX1 and 846 is the great pair for EDM.

I tested that combo before, end up prefering S-em6 / TG334.
EDM lover here

Have yet to try on 1p2 and IE800 though...should be pretty killer.
