I use TagScanner (Windows) which has the simple option to recompress, which seems to make it ZX300 compatible. I think it may be a slightly simpler process than the paint option.
Recompress in TagScanner has not worked for my zx300 always... i had to manually replace some but +10 to TagScanner (i prefer it over mp3tag)I use TagScanner (Windows) which has the simple option to recompress, which seems to make it ZX300 compatible. Maybe because Sony
I have Macbook-- is there equivalent program that would work that you know of?
eh... Paint is the basic Windows program that handles images, comes standard with the operating system. I'd think that the Mac may have something similar? You just need something "stupid" (Paint definitely qualifies) that will handle the conversion on the fly by just copy/paste. Photoshop will certainly do it, I expect, but it's overkill (and you might have to actually also SAVE the file in the appropriate format ) ...
I have had the odd one that doesn't seem to work, but I thought it was something I had done wrong eg downsizing. I have a couple of albums that just won't tag properly regardless of album art I choose and recompress. Also I have had some disappointing results for album art searches, some of my music is a it obscure but there should definitely be some result, those are ones I have had to tag manuallyRecompress in TagScanner has not worked for my zx300 always... i had to manually replace some but +10 to TagScanner (i prefer it over mp3tag)
I'm sure someone had a macbook solution earlier in the thread when this topic was discussed before - perhaps try the search option if no one replies with an answer for you.Maybe because Sony
