That's awesome.  Truly a low maintenance player.  I think that's a forgotten for electronics nowadays.  Everything is so power hungry that you need to charge it ever day.  Good to see Sony release an excellent product.

Nice one hope with flac 16 and 24 lasts a bit longer, I know flac is compressed and has to be decompressed so thats why less battery life, anyways on my A17 it lasts like 40h

and its listed as 145g which is heavier than the zx1. i am confused. really want to see the real thing

Sony just lunched ZX100 in Hong Kong today, priced at 603.85USD - same price as the ZX1.
Buy before 31Oct and they will throw in its leather case for free (CKL-NWZX100); very nice deal

That's good speculation.  If their PR/marketing department was smart they would, since Canjam/RMAF is the perfect target audience for this device.  Fingers crossed we hear something in a week.

Never used a Sony DAP and with current pricing I probably never will, but I love my Lehmann Traveller, use it with DX90, massively underrated here.
