This is definitely a good firmware in my books. I like it a lot. Unplugged music sounds so sublime now, better sense of delicate high tones without increase in fatigue. Female vocals seem to have a new kind of tenderness/sweetness from the increase in airiness.

🤣 You know what comes into my mind? The last firmware update (1.07). Pure flashback.

I can sometimes be too sarcastic, but I was born in the 70's 🙂

Anyways ... I've reduced my normal listening volume by 1 (54 - 53) and now I'm all smiles. Fatigue gone. Vocals definitely got a boost :)

it’s always a fine line between having detail and getting glare. Sensory sensation will likely vary from people to people, some people would be more sensitive to certain frequencies or sounds.

For my setup, vocals are really shining out now. More detail, more nuances and better refinement, very emotive to listen. Great improvement to music immersion, listening to music on the Walkman is like teleportation to another dimension, and yup I am not being sarcastic nor crazy.
