RMT-NWS20 is said to work. I have one and think out of production but can get one one ebay. Its a great little remote. I can even use it with my S10+ phone.
Question: where are Tonal Balance settings on M2? Gone??
Wanted to share that it is safe indeed to import a DAP from Japan using Buyee. I ordered a 1ZM2 on April 22 and got it today (April 28). I was lucky to find a seller on Rakuma parting with the brand new one with a 10% discount (360,000 JPY). The DHL shipping fee to US collected by Buyee was USD 23. Additionally there was USD 27.75 merchandise processing fee and Duty Tax Receiver fee of USD 17.
After my first auditioning, a 1 year old 1Z (original) is on sale already. DMP will go next.
I would like to add some clarity here, as I get PMs. The new Walkman 1ZM2 is not better than DMP by all means. DMP has raw power 1ZM2 doesn't, plus it has much cleaner sound, more refined and even blacker background. The reason I am considering to sell DMP as I am shooting for HifiMan Susvara + a worthy Amp to go with it. The new Walkman will be the source for the future combo. However, 1ZM2 is a step up from the original 1Z: with the wider soundstage, stronger bass and not as dark of the tuning (stock sound signature), which altogether makes it closer to sounding like DMP.

NASA did some validation test on Micron 1Tb nand. Looks like this Micron nand has to pass real serious testing to be considered for space use:
. Introduction
The purpose of this testing is to characterize the Single-Event Effect (SEE) response of the Micron MT29F1T08CMHBBJ4 3D NAND Flash memory. The MT29F1T08CMHBBJ4 is a 1Tb NAND Flash memory, consisting of a four-die stack of 256Gb MLC dice packaged in a 132-ball VBGA package. All data presented is the result of testing only the top die (256Gb) of the package. Testing was performed at two heavy-ion cyclotron facilities with an identical test setup, over the course of four test trips from 2017-2019.
Total ionizing dose (TID) testing was not performed as part of this work.
2. Devices Under Test
Thirty (30) parts from a commercial lot of MT29F1T08CMHBBJ4 were provided to Code 561 for testing. A total of seven (7) devices were exposed to the heavy ion beams while testing. All of these devices were deemed functional after acid-etching necessary to expose the top die, and performed in accordance with specifications and descriptions from the Micron MT29F1T08CMHBBJ4 datasheet. Part identification information can be found in Table I, while the memory organization of the device is shown in Figure 1. Pinouts and extra information can be found in the datasheet.
I use this remote from Sony with almost all my android device (smartphones and daps), windows (tablets/notebooks) and of course the WM1A ... (I own and use 3 of them)
It can manage :
-> volume up and down
-> Next/Previous track
-> fast forward and rewind
-> play/pause
Battery has huge play life (many months) and it's the tiniest and efficient remote I could find.
which is sufficient to leave the DAP/Smartphone in a pocket or on the desktop and play some music playlists with this remote only...
My Micron card from Mouser arrived very quickly. As it's industrial does this mean it can be formatted more than times than ordinary micro cards? Filling it now, 25mb/s on average.
