So I've been researching for a few weeks and I'm about to buy my first pair of headphones.
 
I came down to these 2 headphones, I listen to Hip-Hop/Rap...Trance/House/Dubstep/EDM
 
Anyone has an opinion on either of these?

Have them both.  The 1r isn't suited for bass heavy genres.  The WS99 has tighter bass, more bass, more bass impact, slightly less mids (the 1r has emphasized mids), and rolled off highs like the 1r.  It's difficult to explain but the WS99 is the better headphone at EVERYTHING, not just Hip Hop/Trance etc.  Well, except for comfort.
