I'm hoping someone might have some suggestions for a replacement (longer) cable for my Sony MDR-10RDC headphones.  The phones have a recessed 3.5mm (mini) female connection.  Any suggestions for a slim 3.5mm connector in a 6' length.  The included cable if fine for flying, but once I land it would be helpful to have a longer cable.
 
​I realize I could buy a longer 3.5mm male to female and extend the cable and if anyone has a suggestion or recommendation for that, I would be interested as well.

If I were to guess from looking at photos from a google search, I would say, poke around eBay and Amazon and go for a cable that suits your fancy with connectors similar to the stock cable.  You see how the stock cable, right before the gold-plated contacts, has a narrower section of the plug body?  That kind of shape is not uncommon, especially when people need cables that can fit into recessed jacks of armor-covered smart phones.

I, too was searching for replacement cables for the Sony, especially since the one that came with it was relatively short.
