Hello,
I just found those old pair, but pretty good condition SONY DR-M5 Headphones. I didn't know anything about the headphones before, but I knew they were good. It does sound good as monitor, very revealing.
Now,I want to replace the old earpads, because they are totally compressed, and it smells like thrift shop.
The way earpads are attached on DR-M5 is different from, say, MDR-V6 (easy to replace MDR-V6 earpads.)

You can try these ear pads and have them fit over the ear cups (I own these and they will probably require a little bit of stretching, but might do the trick):
