Well, I am a sucker for modern trubadours so I'll list some high audioquality tunes from that genre:

Ane Brun - Balloon Ranger  (From the live at Stockholm album)
Ane Brun - Big in Japan (From the live at Stockholm album)
Vienna Teng - Blue Caravan
Allan Taylor - The entire "Colour to the moon" album  (it is interesting to compare the B&W Audiophile recording of the "Colour to the moon" song with the regular recording, quite a difference)

hmm, might list more later...

Try Brian Culbertson - Hookin' Up on some AKG K702's. Really good on the K702's.

Music that changed the way I thought about music:

Flying Lotus - Los Angeles is my favorite album, though Cosmogramma is also phenomenal.  For a track:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo-n1Y90G3U

Bonobo - everything, in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGD6I8usrT4

Also as said above, Blockhead = win

Youtube bitrate does not even remotely do these tracks justice, strongly recommend FLAC
