Long story short, a soda exploded in my room and hosed my friend's on of my friend's speakers (AR Classic 18s). The cover was not on the speaker, so the outside of the rubber end of the cones got wet and probably some other parts. Anyway, how would you guys recommend that I clean it? I have not listened to anything through the speaker since the accident and I don't really think I should until it's clean.

Thanks in advance.

What is the cone made of?  If it is a paper cone, it might be hard to clean it without damaging the paper.  If the cone is synthetic, then I'd clean it with a damp cloth.
