I have the iFiio E6 that i use has several settings on the EQ and 2 boost the bass, one the midrange, one bass and midrange and one adds +2 for high impedance headphones headphones. I know it's just an amp and not a dac
 
Does the ZO 2 do the same thing, or just boost the bass?
 
Is the ZO 2 an amp?
 
Is the ZO 2 a DAC?
 
Both?
 
I've been reading threads on the ZO 2 and I'm not quite sure what it is.

Not a DAC.
Its more like an 'audio enhancement' product (whatever that is).
