Thought the last line in Citizen Kane was nosebud.
Alright: Problem is, opinions on some headphones vastly differ - I can easily explain that to myself for quite a few small circumaural models, earbuds and earplugs, because of individual ear shapes. But I'm really puzzled in cases like the AKG K271S, for example. On the other hand, there might also be a simple physiognomical reason behind that - but I've never seen that many other people wearing headphones, nor did I pay much attention, how they'd wear their phones and how the phones would fit them. So, I'm not actually interested in whether you guys have a fat neck or not
- but it would be nice if you could name your usual headphone, check whether there's a gap between your neck and your jaw which the earpad won't cover, when your wear your phone and tell me your bass impression.

For myself:
K240S: gap present; bass mighty, but not overblown
K271S: gap present; bass very recessed in level, weird midrange
