I might be moving around soon, and was wondering what could be a good solution for a DAC/amp that I could easily transport around. I was thinking of just lugging around my 0404usb, but if there is a decent source+amp unit i'd love to know about it!

Most likely, I'll be using it from a netbook (usb), or an old desktop (also usb...)

just throw out anything, price is a factor, but i am open to all price ranges

well i have that device and it isn't very portable thats why I am also looking for a portable DAC/amp. This seems like the best bet as its also affordable: Meier Audio
