I just took out my extra PRO700MK2 and M50 pads and they look like they will fit, so I guess the beyer pads should work as well.

Never used either of those, are the pads round or oval?  I MUST find some velours for these.

Edit:

Just threw on a pair of oval Shure HPAEC940 Velour Pads I was using on my Digitech Monitors.

They don't fit too well on the the SRH750DJ, but they are MUCH better than stock.  Seems to loose a tad of bass, but nothing too bad.

The pads on the PRO700MK2 are round like the SRH750. I just put the extra pads that came with the SRH750 on my PRO700MK2 and it fit perfectly. I'm pretty sure the beyer velour should fit.
It seem to have increased the bass on the PRO700MK2 and gave it better isolation over the M50 pads.

The M50 pads are oval

You might want to take a look at the PRO700MK2 thread first.

Thanks for the heads up.  Canceled my order.  Will review that thread for the best velour option.

I took the pads off both of them and measured the PRO700 and SRH750 and they're both the same size, so what ever fit the PRO700 will fit the SRH750.

Thanks again!

Looks like the Beyerdynamic DT250 Velour pads will be perfect!  Funny, had a set of these, but gave them away with my Panasonic RP-HTF600-S I used to have.

OH well, looks like I will have to order a new pair!

Also, whilst I was messing around with different pads I had laying around, I noticed that the driver covers were facing different directions.

I ended up just taking out the three screws on one side and now have them facing the same way now (no picture of that).  Not sure how much if any it changes the sound.

Hi guys.
Don't mind if i ask, but is Shure SRH 750 DJ good with rock, or, J-Rock specifically?

For example...

Does the electric guitar plays well after 3:46?

Thanks in advance!

They have a bit of metallic mids, the vocals might not sound all that natural with well-recorded rock. With J-Pop, I wouldn't worry too much.

so i guess the 750s are great with J-stuffs? Coz I only listen to J-stuffs, with quite a wide 'sub-genre' like, Jpop, Jrock, electro-pop (i believe 750 does very well here), etc.
Thanks in advance!
