So i got the shure SE215 they're great, but im thinkin of upgrading to the 315
So it would be $220 with 2 year warranty or for $200 my friend gives me a new pair of Monster Turbine Pro Copper but with no warranty, what should I get?

I do a lot of sport with my IEM, and also sleep with them, my past IEM breaked on the 3.5mm jack so I dont know how durable are the Copper.

1. MTPC and Shures are two completely different sounds. Are you sure you'll like the difference?
2. Not sure if you'll find much improvement going from 215 to 315 (Although one is dynamic and the other BA so I'd be interested in reading an actual comparison)
3. I think $220 for SE315 is way too much, even amazon has them for cheaper, although $150 is the ideal price.
4. I'm sure if you looked hard enough if you can find SE425s for around $230-250. Would be a more substantial upgrade.

5. Neither Shure or MTPC are ideal for sport though if I had to pick one, I'd pick the shures for superior fit. If only the cable is lighter and shorter...
6. MTPC already suffers from driver-flex and fit issues without moving around so.......
7. Shure would be so much more comfortable wearing them to sleep.

I think with this budget you can buy TF10Pro and they are far supperior than SE315. Some others IEMs are also recommended like DBA-02, GR07, GR8, IE8 and IE7.

The TF10 would be a huge sound upgrade, but be aware of the fit issues! I think the SE425 would be a good option if you can get them under $250.00
