If we go by "hi-fi" standards as known in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and dare I say 10s your setup is most definitely supra hi-fi!
My mid-fi setup for work is now "complete".

As my Head-Fi collection is mysteriously growing, I've had to relocate to get a bit more space. So I've found an unused corner on the 1st floor and colonized it as my area of the house
Still working out how I want it all set up, but I think this is a good starting point.
Considering hanging my cans on the wall behind the chair, but I'm a bit hesitant because I don't want too much dust on them. Any headphone covers out there?

That's a very nice headphone corner. Looks like a relaxing place to listen.

First impressions from the chair is great, but will need a lot more hours into it for a full review

Next thing you know, they'll see how sweet a spot it is, and demand you move again.

Playtime for some classic gear. The Amp was stored for quite a while now. Still sounds fanatastic.

I think all it needs is a floor lamp in that corner (maybe scoot the shelves over a little) with a soft (40w equiv?) warm temp light for the ultimate evening relaxation vibes. As my Head-Fi collection is mysteriously growing, I've had to relocate to get a bit more space. Lamp added, but went with the other side, as it was a lot easier.I think all it needs is a floor lamp in that corner (maybe scoot the shelves over a little) with a soft (40w equiv?) warm temp light for the ultimate evening relaxation vibes.
Need something on the wall, though, it's a bit too "cold" even though I don't see it when I'm in the chair.

Hmm, you Scandinavians are very minimalistic and tidy people...you can't imagine what lack of space means. As my Head-Fi collection is mysteriously growing, I've had to relocate to get a bit more space.
And you can't imagine how much stuff I would put in that place.
I am a magician in finding a few inches for another amp or DAC.
Enjoy!
Cheers!

What is the tall black component to left of the amp?
Bars on windows? Are you under house arrest?

Nah, just more tubes. A couple (or 3) of those Schiit Voltwankers should do the trick.I think all it needs is a floor lamp in that corner (maybe scoot the shelves over a little) with a soft (40w equiv?) warm temp light for the ultimate evening relaxation vibes.
Probably need to invest in a portable AC unit if you go that route tho…

Could just install a fireplace in the house and get the same effect.
I don’t know why it took me a while to finally try these tubes out, but I am glad I finally glad I got to hear them. 1st time inserting RCA 45 Globe into my system and I am 1 very happy listener
