I love your new desk and the E3 hanging there... It seems that you love sub-bass frequencies :relieved: Do the E3 reach your double sub level?

Thank ya! I definitely love my sub-bass haha :)

The E3's are amazing! They are the closest headphone I've owned to match the studio monitor + sub sound. The sub-bass is very impressive on em. When I need to be quiet, they are easy to reach for!

My most up to date setup after my new desk arrived!

What speakers/monitors are those? And how do they sound up against the front wall like that?

I have a much uglier but somewhat similar placement of my sealed speakers on the desktop, just in front of a picture window. Sealed always worked best for me, but I've never had ported speakers that had ports on the front. That's interesting to me...

The predecessor of the Cyan 2 was an RME ADI-2 Dac, the Cyan plays much more full-bodied and without sibilance, so the bottom line is that it is more "musical". I tend to listen louder. Compared to the RME, this is an optimization in terms of sound, which has a particularly beneficial effect on the Sennheiser HD800s.

I cannot draw a comparison with other DA

munich here too :gs1000smile: the Hifiman isnt listed in your toys. i guess its an iteration of the he1000, but which one?
edit, just read its the se. sorry for my post
