Shared line-out, does it really bypass the amp section?

These are pretty common with DAPs nowadays I wonder if the amp section is truly byoassed with these shared ports or they just provide a loud enough signal that can be considered as a lineout (but still went through the amp section). Apologies if this has been repeatedly discussed before but can't find any reliable info about it. Thanks!

Probably depends on the device, but I would guess most just put the volume to 100% and call it a day. I do know, for instance, that the Fiio M3K definitely just maxes out the volume - it doesn't have any switching circuitry to bypass the amp.

I am mainly curious if the FiiO M11 Plus lineout mode for both balanced / SE do not bypass the amp section.
