Is the LDAC support only possible through Shanling's own audio player app or is it possible to somehow enable LDAC for all audio apps?

When I connect my Soundcore Space A40 earbuds to the M3X, the display only shows SBC next to the bluetooth icon.

LDAC support is system wide. not connected to any app.

Do you have the soundcore companion app installed?

If you try to switch to LDAC in Audio settings, does it have any effect?

Just picked up the M3x for holiday usage and have got to say it's a fabulous little player with a great sound signature just waiting on the case to come in ice blue, very sexy lol

So apparently, my M3X simply died today. I left it in my bag overnight, it wasn’t playing music. I took it out of the bag this morning, no response. I hooked it up to a charger, no sign of life. Left it charging for a few hours, nothing.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried a hard reset by holding the power / volume knob down until the screen turns on? I think you have to push for around 10 seconds.

Yes. No luck.
Like I said, my M3X doesn‘t even react when I plug it into a wall socket. The battery’s probably busted.

If it's under warranty, please contact your seller.

If it's out of warranty, it can be send to us for repair.

Does it react any way if you connect it to computer?

Hi guys! Good day! I'm trying to get back into audio and i'm a little struggling choosing between Shanling M3X (around 120usd used) or Sony Wm1A (around 315usd used). Is the 200usd price difference going to be worth it? I alwasy here people saying that the Sony Hous Sound is pretty good.

Previously i owned Fiio m11 Pro, Sony NW105, Hiby R3 and some tooping a90/d90 stacks.

@Shanling Would it be possible to push an update to have the hardware buttons send the corresponding bluetooth command (previous, next, toggle play) when using bluetooth amp mode?

I'd like to be able to pause my music, or rewind/fast forward a podcast when my phone is sending audio via bluetooth.

I'm on 1.67. When I try to do OTA update, it says "No new firmware has been found."

Download from GDrive and update locally, worked for me.

I've asked this on the M6 ultra thread as well is there any reason why I can't use the Eddict player instead of the stock shanling music player app for playback ax it's quicker and has better theme options plus it seems to find the correct album art where the stock doesn't. Is there a difference in playback quality?

I have the M3U and installed:
USB App.
Power Amp
Neutron player

They all work without any issues.

I'm the only one with cutouts at the start of every song? With M3X Firmware V1.70 only, because i never had this before...
