This is disappointing. I have the M2 and like it a lot but the proposed pricing for the M1 is too high. I'll stick with my Plenue D. Thanks anyway.

So are you saying you like the Plenue D better than the M2? I just picked up an M2 (still waiting for it) but the Plenue D was a very close other choice.

Looking on the Aliexpress desciption, the M1 will include this nice looking leather case already in the package? If yes the price tag is very fine to me.

I like the M2 a lot, that is why I was considering the M1, I like its footprint and if it sounds like the M2, it would be a hit. What I was saying was that the pricing mentioned really borders on what I paid for on the M2. Since I already have a unit that is the same smaller footprint (Plenue D), and I have the M2, the M1 is looking like an expensive option for something I already have.

I want the Bluetooth aptX, and it seems the only other DAP with that is the Pioneer, which is much more expensive compared to the M1. I'd also rather not be bogged down by another phone-sized device, so this form factor is another positive. Shame about no inline remote support, but with two competing standards, not surprising.

Hidizs AP60  has Bluetooth aptX.

Hidizs AP60 supports BT 4.9 APTX

I see that now. The M1 is still smaller, and I really don't want another brick in my pocket, which is why I've hesitated considering the Pioneer 100R or FiiO X7. Think I'm going to wait a bit for user reviews before I pick a direction. Finding an easy way to get the product here in the US is important as well.

I see that the M1 is priced at £115 on Ali-ex! Seems a bit steep at the moment compared to the new Hidiz ?
