Asking again, This is very important

Can the M0 Pro play send data and power to my B&W PX8 through the USB-C port

My Fiio M5 cannot do it. And I want to buy a DAP where I can just use a USB c2c cord.

Nobody can answer this for me.
Seeing as you are the official channel for this, please somehow find out if this is possible.

I guess this goes the same for all B&W headphones.
And seeing as they are popular AND included a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box of their headphone, for precisely this reason it is important

If you cant find out then nobody can
thanks

M0 Pro can be used with USB-C DACs. So it should also work with most USB-C headphones.

But we don't have these B&W headphones to test, so not something we can confirm.

But you are a fairly big company, and B&W is a fairly big brand... I simply cannot understand why you cannot test this and then come back and say if it works
I'm sorry, we don't have resources to test all different headphones requested by customers.

We can recommend to purchase from a shop with good return policy if you would face any issue on your M0 Pro

ok not all, but what c2c headphones have you tested it on then ?
I do find it interesting, given the nearly infinite number of accessories available in the audio world, that someone expects a company to test every device that could possibly connect to it and produce a compatibility list. Mind blowing. And good luck.

Range of DSP cables, some BT headphones with USB input cable. But as we didn't test B7W, we can't confirm this.

As mentioned before, purchase from a place with good return policy or if possible, go to local shop that would allow you to test it in person before purchase.

If it makes you feel better, my Shanling ET3 doesn't work with my Woo WA8. The ET3 costs multiple times more than the M0pro. And it is an advertised feature to be able to use a USB DAC.

It's not realistic to expect a company to test the the massive multitudes of headones, DACs, etc... to ensure compatibility with everything. It's the big part of buyer beware.

well not eeeverything but maybe the top 100 most sold headphones would not hurt i think. You make it sound like I am asking for a lot, But I am really not. B&W PX8 is a really popular headphone and so is sony mx4 and 5 and so is bose,..
So it is not impossible or astronomical as you make it sound.. it is really quit simple actually..
They should just buy them, test them and report back.
Instead of me doing it for them

I do hope that you have also contacted B&W to request that they buy every possible device that could connect to all of their equipment and test for compatability with each one as well.

We test our USB outputs with range of USB DACs, which are primary purpose for it on our devices. If we have some USB-C headphones on hand, we also try it and it's reason why we added the Variable USB volume into the system.

We do not have access to B&W headphones and do not plan to be purchasing them for testing this.
