Hey everyone,

Well like the title says I'm trying to set up my first audio system. Basically I want a record player and some speakers that do a decent job for the least possible money. I'm on a very tight budget here and just getting into the record and speaker set up.

So far I have this in mind for a Turntable:

and for speakers:

What I'm wondering about is if I need another other pieces for this system? Do I need a receiver to plug the speakers into or anything like that? Or can I just hook the speakers up to the Turntable? Also, if I need a receiver do you guys have any <$100 recommendations?

I know I'm totally new to this after having been a strictly headphones sort of guy. I finally have my own apartment so now I'm looking into speakers etc...

Anyhow, thanks for any help and advice!
