Dear Head Fi,
I bent the plug on my HD 448's and am wondering first how do i pull off the main cord and where can I buy a replacement cable. 
I am a beginner so thats why such "nooby" questions.

HD 448 does not have a detachable cable, which means if you want to replace it, you will have to open the can, desolder the old cable and solder the new one back in the same place.
 
If its only the plug at fault, depending on how the cable its made inside and how thin, you could fit a new plug on it. Probably will be easier to replace the whole thing, as the other option sounds more messy and might look ugly or be unfunctional.
 
Out of curiosity, how did you manage to bent it?

I stood up a bit too fast with them plugged in to my computer and they bent....
