so yeah im about to make a huge (for me) purchase of iems. i need to choose between these two. i know they're different (iem vs buds) but these are the two that reallly catches my eye. i have experience with both brands (sony xb41/ xba-1 sennheiser mx880 etc) so guys help me out here which one do i choose? or can you recommend any other earphones that i can buy direct from store (i live in HK) THANX

The MX980 is very large. Many people can't get it to fit. Make sure it will fit you before buying it.

well, i tried the EX1000 which were on demo... they fit me ok. however, i can't try the MX980. i do have the MX880, which are a step down from the 980's, and they fit me PERFECTLY. should i go for ex600?

The MX880 is quite a bit smaller than the MX980. I haven't tried either personally, I am just repeated what I have read on several occasions. The MX880 seems to be close to average size, while the MX980 is excessively large.
