Looking for a new pair of high end IEM's and these are the 3 I have narrowed it down to. I would love to know your guys opinions/experiences.

From my impressions of owning both (DX90 + Cayin C5 for source)
SE846: Mid's are more forward, but veiled compared to IE800's. More bass, faster response, better imaging. Better isolation & cables.
IE800: Mid's are amazingly clear. Huge soundstage, sounds very airy. More fun than the 846's.
if you are a basshead , get the 846 - otherwise both ie800 and K3003 are the most balanced/detailed ones
i have the K3003 and reading the k3003 thread , people who owned all 3 of these usually put K3 first , followed closely by ie800 and last the 846
if money matters , the ie800 looks like the better vaue for money (as the k3003 is 200-300$ more expensive)
if budget is not a matter , go for the k3003 (IF you are not a basshead that is)
still , you need to tell us what kind of sound you are after
cheers
Even though i am not the TE, i want ask you a question about IEM:
Interesting and informative statements. I currently own a Phone PFE 112 since 2010 and I consider myself to go for an upgrade.
I listen more J-Rock, J-Pop, Dance, House, Hip-Hop, alternative Rock. All this type of music sounds boomy (but not so exaggerated.
Do you think that I should go for Shure SE846 for that kind of music?
Thanks in advance.

I am just upset they are $400 only in US. The price stays $1000 in Europe. We are looking for someone we know who can grab them when I buy’em on AKG website. Don’t think any headphones would replace them.what kind of sound signature are you looking for? I think they are all capable in their own way depending on what you like.
K3003 is my personal favorite but the sound signature is brighter with leaner but tight bass and great texture. sound stage is wide and imaging is spot on.
Shure 846 going off memory is darker, bigger bass and rolled off treble. easy listening with great mids
IE800 going off memory is more of a V shaped with great dynamics - bassy and lots of treble.
