Little bit of a cost increase, but I think the comfort factor alone will be worth it. I just didn't like the Grados. They weren't very comfy and it was hard to do homework in them. Plus the sound stage was about identical to my Shures (in my head). Oh well, I enjoyed testing them out.

Anyway, now I'm excited for new headphones a second week in a row.

You're making the right decision. You can always buy grados later (thats what I did)

I hope they're as comfy as everyone says they are. I also hope HeadRoom is as good with returns as they make themselves out to be.

Also, I didn't want to put my Visa number on the return slip that I'm sending back to them through the mail. Will they mind? I figure they have me on record. Does anyone have experience with that?

In my experience Headroom is very good about answering customer questions. You could always email them and ask.

don't worry the 595's are comfy. I can even wear my glasses with them, which is rare for headpones (doesn't matter much i wear monthly night and day contacts.)
