Got the HD-570. There's a scratchy sound coming out of one of the sides. Am I gonna have to buy new ones??

anyone? it's happened to other headphones I've owned...ended up trashing them.

Are you certain it isn't the amplifier you're using? I'd say try it with other sources, then, if it's consistent, maybe someone else can offer you an opinion, because I don't know much about electronics.

Also, you can try cleaning the headphone jack.

kk...I'll try both when I get home tonight. It's almost as if the right side of the headphones can't handle the bass.
