For the ridiculous prices out there for cables, I’m surprise we don’t see people walking around with cables around their neck instead of necklaces. Interconnect earrings anyone?

Slackaveli already has his cable bracelet I see.
I always thought using speaker wire to lace up my 20-eye Dr Martens would have been cool, but I never got around to it in my youth.

I’m using Zu Audio Mission Mk2 as interconnect for long time now. No complain and cheap as well. I got some used one from eBay for a good price. Few years back they used to do bid for their cables.

good call. I still keep a pair of Docs, and always of the Made in England variety.

Try this track with Yggy and be mesmerized by the layering and soundstage that Yggy can resolve. MiB's resolving prowess is on full display on this track

No MIB but still a cool track. One of my favorites for gear evaluation:

Chocolate Chip Trip by Tool

As always, have to become very familiar with the track before it’s really helpful for evaluating.

Thanks! Fear Inoculum is a classic reference album indeed!
I’ve been a big tool fan for a long time, but only recently added it to my evaluation tracks. I guess I’m a bit of a Tool evangelist at the moment. :)

Another track I love for evaluating gear- a live recording of Goose playing Arcadia. Not as high quality recording as CCT, but still pretty layered and some awesome guitar solos.

Tidal link- Goose

A1 is out, LIM is in (dont worry I added the screws after I took the pics).

Had to upgrade the firmware too, I guess since I have a OG yggy, but all of it was simple plug & play. Just a lot of screws to work with, and it took me a minute or two to see the dip switch that designates left channel vs right channel. Also watched a yt vid to confirm I put the firmware in the correct orientation. It's tiny but there's a notch on the chip that should be facing the inputs. That was the only real "thinking" involved in the process.
Also lulz at the guy that I bought this from. He was clearly paranoid about heat dissapation. Every single cap & chip on the board had some sort of heat shield/thermal padding. I didn't bother transferring the pads to the LIM boards. I think she'll be alright :).
Fired up just fine & I immediately notice more detail & cleaner sound with blacker background. Very noticeable improvement over the A1 and I haven't even let it cook yet.
I'll stick w/ this baddie.
Only problem is that it's making me want to upgrade my headphones now too :\

and this whole upgradability is one of the reasons I bought a yggy over the competition. I'm a tinkerer & loved the idea of a modular dac. Who knows what we may get in the future? Cheers to the engineers at schiit that allows us to keep this fresh without having to buy a whole new box, as well as options for different budgets/sound preferences. I really appreciate this approach to design.

Wow that’s great but it can’t connect to your headphone and amp so that’s useless. They need an adapter that can convert the headphone cable to an actual necklace and vice versa.

Then the headphone cans can be converted to bra support/padding? That’ll create a new niche for ZMF “pads”.
