Yeah, it's probably closer to 33mpg best (in fact we saw 37 mpg yesterday, briefly, coming back home from Healdsburg) - but 27 is my highway average. I rarely use cruise and I do have a tendency to step down hard on occasion, as I am constantly doing my due diligence to clear the left lane quickly... <g>
I've been looking at more expensive options since I sold the Impala, but in reality I'll probably end up with something like this,
when it's time to replace the prius (still going strong after 16 years). I need more room for upcoming house and farm projects.
If I buy something less expensive , I'll be able to buy some more Schiit. Might have to take another at the mazda cx series tho.
I hope everyone in the eclipse path gets clear skies .
April 8, 2024 solar eclipse maximum stage, Southern AZ around 11:20AM (about 70% occultation). Handheld projection method using binoculars projecting on a white surface:
Note: It may look less than 70% due to the inaccuracy in the projection alignment. All done by hand.
Too cloudy to view anything where I am in NJ. I saw it briefly (with my eclipse glasses on of course!) when the cloud cover thinned a little. Hope you all are having a better view where you are!
EDIT to add: Disappointed Qobuz didn't have a solar eclipse playlist. But I listened to Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon this morning
