Love Death Wish Coffee! They're very smooth with hits of cherry acidity (the Dark roast red packaging)

So tempting to buy my own cup too!

Currently listening lackluster mainstream mastered tracks from my native country this weekend, and I'm super glad MIB is so forgiving with them that it renders mastering faults to a very inoffensive manner while presenting ridiculous amount of plankton on well mastered tracks :). I remember I can hardly listen to them from BF2 OG which is less forgiving / more fatiguing to listen to these tracks.

Yikes, I had not realized how pricey the mugs had gotten. Early on, DWC gave away a mug with an annual coffee subscription.

Thank you for thelistening recommendations!

Hey all - now this will seem like a schiity luxury problem - and it is - still Schiit related - so please help me. I'll head from Europe to US for SXSW conference in Austin - where no doubt I'll have the best BBQ ever (I've been there before before)... but after that I'll head to San Diego for a few days of work. I have ONE single day off - a sunday - when I will drive from San Diego to the Schiitr to pickup that last Yggy OG 230V that just disappeared from the Closeout section... and then head back to Europe...
Questions:
Driving from San Diego on a Sunday to the Schiitr (I have never been driving in the US and never been on the west coast)... What route should I take (both ways)? I would love to see some landmarks on the way and get the most out of it... amd some good food! And get back to San Diego before midnight... Think music and iconic landmarks more than nature :) I guess Sunset Strip might be part of it?

While I am sure the Schittr is worth a trip all on its own, have you considered arranging to just have the yggy shipped to your hotel, so you dont spend 6-8 hours in traffic on your only day off and can enjoy a full day of good food, sites, attractions... Plus then you could leave yggy in the relative safety of your hotel room...

Looking up para: You talkin' "next to" and "side by side" fantastic or are you talkin' "moving or going beyond" fantastic?
.... "you talkin' to me?" đźš•

So, fantastic-adjacent?
Para has several meanings, para bellum means prepare for war in Latin. Si vis paced, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war.

I'm looking for opinions/advice on Schiit amplification for my setup. ... My speakers are Triangle Celsius ES towers (92db, impedance is nominal 8 ohms with a minimum of 4 ohms) ... I listen to a lot of jazz, but I do like to listen to big orchestral music, too. My room is moderately sized, but I sometimes crank up some rock while I'm in the kitchen, the next room over. I don't want the Aegir 2 to run out of steam! Thoughts?
I have speakers less sensitive than yours and an integrated less powerful than yours, about the same as the Aegir 2 is going to be. I sit 9ft from the speakers and I've never played the amp at more than 1/2 full power. At about 1/3 volume, I can hear it in the kitchen through some double doors, downstairs into the open plan living room/kitchen/dining area. No subs, either, so the amp is taking the entire load. Room is 17x19.

IMO you'll be fine :)

I'm hoping that the pace of this thread will slow down once we hit 10,000 pages.

My wife says that I need to live in the present, instead of being stuck nine pages in the past...

Dear me, I fell a week (well, 6 days) behind on my reading here and I am a whopping 60 (sixty, six-zero) pages (not posts, pages) behind! I love this place! Well, the coffee is ready :coffee: let’s get rippin’!

Is this I-fell-behind-on-my-reading-and-have-a-zillion-posts-to-catch-up-but-love-it on the sine wave, btw?
Sounds like a good addition, there has been quite a bit of that recently!
