I have a few of these. They're great!
When I looked at that top plate, all I could think was: ”Someone needs to 3D print a replacement plate with the Schiit logo!”

That's a nice looking case. Do you have a link for it?
It is. Do you know, @Brubacca , if moving a NUC from one case to another the ports can be relocated?

I have a NUC and the ports were seemingly located by a drunken pirate after a 3 day bender....

i’ve been quite happy with my fan-less one also from akasa for my Roon Rock. I really despise fan noise. On my work laptop no matter the service any video call the fans ramp up till the call is over. Wish that Intel could follow Apples lead on noise and performance.
....
That's a nice one as well. Would it be possible to transplant my hideous MiniBoss into something like that?

LOL! No, mine is titled "Pacer Life." That name was still available, hard as it may be to believe.
I look forward to the chapter "Schiit-heads I've known" ...

I've had no issues whatsoever stacking Freya+ N on Yggy GS2. Of course this is a Kara and not a Freya, so YNMV. I'm sure your ears will tell you.

If I remember correctly one set of ports actually connects to an extender piece in the Plato case. I'm guessing it was the front ports. Beyond that I do not know. Sorry. Its been a few years since I installed it.

While that would be nice, I've had no issues whatsoever stacking Freya+ N on Yggy GS2.
The Yggy has ventilation holes on top for a reason… positioning a large warm metal plate with a 1/4” space would not be my choice. Small 1” tall pieces at the 4 corners would help.

I am very careful with equipment ventilation and do not stack anything.

Yup, I already have some spacer feet on the way. It's going to be long several weeks waiting for the Maggies to arrive still.

Thanks!
Can't wait to hear your impressions. I've always loved the sound of Maggies, but my preference in amplifiers doesn't mix well with them. I bet they'll sound magnificent with the Tyrs.
