You and a Pi? You’d never get anything else done! Talk about “trying to find time…”. Beware, my friend. Here there be dragons… So to speak, anyhow! If I can assist you in dicving down the rabbit hole, happy to!
The clarity of the high frequencies, which as mentioned by others is due to a reduction in: pick your term- glare, stridency, harshness, and so forth, also sounds in some ways like a reduction in high frequency energy. And that is true, and yet the reproduction of music now sounds more accurate, and not lacking in high frequency information. It's just that I now hear musical information, and not other artifacts which detracted from the music itself. And while this sounds subtle the over all improvement in what I am hearing is significant. Again- my ears, my system, my music, etc.

Yep - they are either Minilites or Minotours - I sell an awful lot of Minilite style wheels to MGB/ C owners -I think they look way better than wire wheels !!

I remember Pink Triangle. I worked for a Linn dealer, so at that time was brainwashed into thinking all else was rubbish, which obviously was not true.
