lol well I gots to try it. Obviously I want vinegar and not red sauce right?🤪
Absolutely for the meat. OTOH, if you're getting any sides I'd recommend caution with the red slaw. Vinegar base versus a mayo-type base. Some people love it, but I'm not one of them. 🤣

Oh gosh there is no replacement for eating NC B-Bcue in real time!
Shipping it will just not be the same...

Sorry, but you can try....but I wonder...

I would try Parkers for the vinegar based traditional eastern NC style...
Get the spicy hot sauce as well.

Warm up slowly, maybe add a tad of water for moisture, only if it appears a tad dry...

What your missing are the warm baked beans, and fresh hush puppies and cold slaw..

Time for a road trip Tom!

Almost done with the bathroom/shower reno. Third time around! LOL!
I built this house with my son and a few friends in Raleigh, NC.
No small feat in 1998 timeframe.

Never gad an issue with safety or power tools!
Well.
I bought a new Skil brand table saw.
Works sweet.

Cutting a floor plank, I looked away for 2 sec..and!!

Wait for it... Ouch!!
5 hrs in Emerg, 2 hours orths surgeon.

Well at least I didnt cut it off, but its meatloaf time and small fracture!!
And yes I did not have any safety guards on the table saw..
Idiot, yes I remind myself each minute!
:>)
Alex

Heal time 3 months for some normalcy.
A year for total healing.
And yes it hurts each time i accidently hit it or catch it putting on clothes!!

lol I will check distances soon. It could be I could swing through that area then on to Virginia to visit my son. 😁 From my home to say within a hundred miles of Raleigh in a day, then 4.5 hours to Vienna VA while avoiding Maryland and DC traffic, that could be done.🤔

Thanks have to rebandage every other day...still looks like a real mess!
Shredded meatloaf texture!

The pain is not bad at all now, 2 weeks.

I am a lucky man!! *Emerson Lake and Palmer!!

They make some really neat bandages that dont stick to the wound...Xeroform, comes in many formats.
I use 1 x 8 inch strips, they are yellowish, saturated in petroleum with a built in antibiotic...makes changing
sooo much less painful..

At 74 I dont like pain at all, unless its grabbing a hot vacuum tube from time to time!!

I still do not have full feeling in my thumb from my mishap but hopefully your improvement is better.

You should upgrade to home roasting… you’ll never go back, and, by my calculations, (16oz per day consumption rate), I had a just over two year ROI versus buying already roasted. Also, I can get my roast exactly as I like it.

I use the Genecafe’ roaster, and typically get my green beans from SweetMarias (California company)
SweetMarias for the win.

Once it is no longer in danger of getting infected, stop using the Neosporin. People have have been known to develop allergies to it with long term use.

Perhaps you should plan your route like the airlines would and arrive in Virginia via Oklahoma. 🤣 I might even try to find some Belvedere to honor the occasion., maybe.

Yeah right, I would most likely find a little bottle like they serve on airlines when I got there. :beerchug:

But, ELP's "Lucky Man" died...! 🥺😱👻
Well, there are two kinds of luck...

Perhaps,
"If you have a friend on whom you think you can rely,
You are a lucky man
If you have a reason to live on and not to die,
You are a lucky man."
would work better here.

Lyrics from Oh Lucky Man by Alan Price, title track to the film of the same name, a truly disturbing movie from the early '70s.
