Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I am assuming that it would probably need to dwarf his desk, Tom, and you'd have to ship it on a flatbed...

The man needs to learn to have fewer tubes left out to swap and replace those on occasion. I get by with a six pack most of the time.🤪 IMG_7709.jpeg

I assume that he's using USB OUT on Urd, but don't know. If so, all he needs to do is select USB IN on Yggy, and he'll get whatever Urd is doing. CD or USB 1 or 2...
I was using Urd USB out to Yggy, but after re-arranging things, I ended up with the streamer's USB output -> Urd DDC Port 1 and Urd's AES/EBU out to Yggy...

And that sounds really good in my system.

I wanted the change to bake into my brain a bit before I change the AES connection (between Urd and Yggy) to USB...

So what output are you using on Urd? And sorry if I missed that somewhere...
AES/EBU to Yggy OG, using a SilverSonic DH-110 cable. A bit darker presentation than USB, but potentially well suited to my speakers... we'll "see" (hear), with continued listening. Just need to get the time, which is at a premium these last few weeks. I wish that I didn't have to work to afford my hi-fi habit!

The original release on vinyl is on the way to you as soon as I get help packing the albums.
Very cool my vinyl copy got way too much playing time back in the day. 😁 I appreciate anything sent to me, today it is Colorado bourbon and a case of wine. Finnegan may have to sign for it if they arrive late afternoon.🙀

I run a 7.2 system but I may go smaller in the near future, repairing my receiver twice is enough for me. I hope to simplify. Women have a tendency to live longer than men so I would want to leave my wife a less complicated system. My son will get my audio gear and he will figure it out.😉

Beware of false treasures---the buried treasure is probably the contents of Finnegan's litter box.
I'm pretty sure he's saving all that for me so I'm not entirely left out of his will. 🤣
