I'll kick it off

1) Any weekend past first weekend in Nov to mid Dec.

2) My condo's rec room in Encinitas, I'd guess ~500 sqft of open area

I should be around. Will know for sure in the next few days. I'm in London at the moment. My equipment in pretty lame though. 15gig ipod, shure e4,koss ur40....might have a new portable amp tho!! Maybe one of these shops in san diego would do some loaners? Oh just remembered...I might have an rnb interconnect to bring. More later. All the best guys!! Mish

i'm going to be completely tied up with work related things until mid-november, but i'll be sorta available after that. i won't have any of my real gear in SD until AFTER the holiday period, though. it's all on the other side of the country, and i will be flying up there for xmas.

so presently, all i'd be able to supply is a pair of hd25's :O

if there are any plans for another meet after the holidays, i'll most likely have my Dialogue II, Glass Toslink, Gilmore Lite, and hd650's w/ Cardas.

A San Diego mini-meet? This is fantastic!!! What a surprise...

I'm free pretty much any weekend, but I'd still prefer it to be in
December since that's when I can make sure I'll get a ride there.

I'm new to this hobby, so I don't have much to offer yet...
An Ety er4p, a Sony SA3K, a Xmoy2 amp and a iAudio M3.

But if the meet is in December, I'm pretty sure I'd also have a
headroom MicroDac by then as well (And if I go really insane,
a MicroAmp with it to complete the MicroStack

)

I'm really interested in more info here.
This might be my first chance for a serious equipment auditioning.
(Not to mention a great stimulus for my upgraditis)

So I guess it will be on a weekend and either in December or January since that's the general consensus. There's some nice equipment I can't wait to check out! So will there be a computer-based hi-fi source where I can listen to my music out of? My portable player doesn't really let headphones bloom to their full potential.

Ahh this is great. What might of been a quick lunch meet will now be a day of fun.- Local head-fiers unite!

Encinitas is perfect. I'll be there and will bring the complete set-up as seen in the So.Cal. meet.

From the lush tube sound WA3 / DT880 combo to the Electrostatic clarity of the STAX ClassicII system.

SACD / DVD-A as well.

So it seems that sometime in Dec might be best in order to have the widest range of equipment available and be accomodating to everyone.

How does everyone feel about Dec 10th (Sat)? I noticed there's some UCSD students here, I can't remember when the quarter ends but will this be in the thick of finals?

I'm super busy with work until Thurs. but I promise an update to the original post by then.

Looks like this might be good, thanks guys!
