WALLACE NOT SABONIS
I just read in today's paper that the Blazers are considering trading Rasheed Wallace and Ruben Patterson to New Jersey Dikembe Mutombo and Kenyon Martin. This would be colossally stupid for the Nets. In Kenyon Martin you have one of the best all around players in the league, and Mutombo is still in the elite defensive players. On the other hand, you have Wallace, who has the potential to be among the league's greats but simply refuses to play effectively, and Ruben Patterson who is a good player, but not really a guy any team would want. The Nets would have to be idiots to accept this deal.
