I'm getting a PC with the motherboard mentioned in the title, I was wondering if the ALC1150 based DAC/amp in the Sabertooth Z170 S is good for the HD598, if not I could jump on the $60 (Great price for me) deal on the Fiio E10k for the 11.11 Aliexpress sale

I would say to go for a Sound Blaster Z sound card (used?).

Where are you located?
 
I think good enough is up to the individual's personal taste.
But in general the Sabertooth's on-board audio will work with the HD598 headphones.

I own the board and I find with an external amp it is a bit staticky. I have sought a USB DAC now.
