I've just reconnected the Hi-Fi. Before I had the typical layout
Source--->Pre-amp pre-out---->Poweramp--->Speakers. Full-range signal _________________pre-out#2->Subwoofer. Crossover enabled around 50hz.
And now it's
Source--->Pre-amp pre-out--->subwoofer RCA input, subwoofer RCA output-->poweramp-->Speakers
Subwoofer line level high pass filter is active and fixed at 80 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope. I've enabled the subwoofer crossover, and set the dial to 80hz. So the poweramps aren't receiving low bass, which should be good. Speakers are standsmounts, ported, 50Hz - 22KHz +/- 3dB.
Any tips on how to fine tune it? It thought about set to my typical level. Turn down subwoofer. Run pink noise measure output of speakers. Turn off poweramp. Run pink noise, turn up subwoofer dial until dB is to that level.
