$120 bucks for the Vali?  Wow.....I wonder how it stacks up against the LYR.

Got mine on ebay too!

Appreciate that amp more every time I use it.  It's just so clean and powerful while maintaining a nice articulate timbre.

Yeah, started following the Vali thread yesterday, lots of hype and OT but the posts by Purrin give a lot of comparison to other gear including the LYR. His analysis and enthusiasm for the Vali AND the price, MY NEXT AMP! Should sound great with the ZMF. Looks like a few weeks away before they ship..................satwilson

I actually have had the review done for a month but it's still being queued for publishing. The Brainwavz review had to be posted first because of the fact that there was a preorder going on and I wanted it to be published before the preorder was over. But all 2500 words of it should be up soon!

I got my zmf balanced t50rp working with my mjolnir, it sounds fantastic.  I had a buzzing issue but it turned out to be a dimmer switch causing it!

I actually am enjoying my Mjolnir too, a little more every day I think...not sure if it's just getting burned in or if I'm getting used to the sound.  Really nice, powerful and transparent amp.

I am actually enjoying the ZMF with a Little Dot I+ with stock tubes listening to classical and jazz

After a lot of reading, I am now starting to think my initial plan to get a NFB 15.32 is not a very good investment. I always thought more power is what the T50RP drivers need but it seems that quality power is more important.........nothing is ever easy

The following is an everything/nothing post:

Importance of amp power to me, is way exaggerated.  If I unplug my headphones from my mjolnir and plug it directly into my laptop headphone out, I get depressed because the difference if you quantify it in a percentage is so low.  But then I quantify it in terms of enjoyment and I feel better.  My audiophile journey was conducted in a pretty inefficient way with lots of small upgrades or sidegrades as I learned more.  Had I just immediately jumped to a top of the line amp like the mjolnir I could have saved myself so much money and time.  Part of the fun of these forums is learning more, but I learned a big part of these forums is actually subtly putting down people with cheaper equipment or headphones.  I think a lot of people get insecure and upgrade because of that sort of peer pressure.  I was affected that way anyway.  Now that I have what I consider TOTL amp/headphones I think I'll stay at this level for a while.  The only place to go is HD800/LCD3 or some kind of stax setup which is never gonna happen for me because that's like.. car money to me
