Wow, That sucks for those looking for low cost, good sound.  I can't believe how good the GR99 sounds for $25, I have the GR02 Bass edition stuck in customs so it should be here this week.
Is it worth picking up the GR04 if you own the GR06 already?   I'd say for anyone who doesn't own these they should jump on them while they can.  I've always thought these "lower" models were priced to low, couldn't see how Vsonic was making a profit on them?   If the GR99 had the same cable as the GR06 I'd pay $50-60 for them no problem. 
 Hopefully they don't redo the whole price range?, I'd hate to see the GR06 go up to the $100 range since it will be the "New" low model.   It makes it real hard for us guys who don't have the extra $$  to get a great IEM, Personally I'd love the GR07 but can't swing the $150 plus price, or either I can't tell myself that the price jump from $50 (GR06) to $150+(GR07) is worth it?  $100+ more in price is hard to do for me.
 
Wishful thinking, If the GR06 will be bottom model, keep the price at the $60 it's going for now, and bring the GR07 closer at $100-110, move the GR01 to $150ish....I'm sure they will still make a lot of profit and move more in sale due to it being easier to afford, just my thoughts

Yeah I got mine before the price jump, Lend me ur Ears is still the best for U.S. buyers due to the U.S Warehouse..Right now they are on sale on Amazon for $55...I just bought another GR99 off ebay for $21 shipped, going to give them as a gift.  I also see a GR02 in white with a flat cable and the same plug as the GR06/07, looks interesting but I have a GR02 on the way.

If you have the GR02, then you can skip the GR99; similarly, you can skip GR04 if you have GR06. That's my conclusion.

Well Well, They are getting rid of the GR99 and GR02, after the reviews started coming out the GR99 shot up to $39.99, even more then the $37 for the GR02.....Vsonic missed the mark on the GR99, they should have been $39 from the start, they are that good.

Can you tell me where did you get this news? I never heard that the GR99 will be discontinued...
I live in China, and hear a lot about VSonic rumors....

GR99 price will be up from 128 RMB to 289 RMB (starting 5th May)
GR02 will be discontinued... now it's discounted for only 99 RMB
GR01 price will be up from 1299 RMB to 1699 RMB (starting 1st May)
GR06 price will be up from 299 RMB to 399 RMB
GR04 Ultimate Pro Updated whatever (most expensive) version will be down from 699 RMB to 399/299 RMB (I forgot this one)

Hopefully it changes tho, they did raise the prices up?  Either it's a repricing or just people selling off their extra stock?   I know on Taobao  they are everywhere, so who knows?

GR99 price will go up... it's repricing, not discontinued AFAIK....
But ClieOS info is usually good...
 
GR04 and GR02 will be discontinued though, he's definitely right about that... prices are down at www.taobao.com

This looks good, Too Bad on the GR02 tho, it's really great.  The GR99 is now $39.99 US-Good Deal Still
The GR06-I always thought it should be more $
I really like the Rumor-If that's true I'll buy the GR07, I could never make myself pay $160 US after I bought the GR06 for $53 US
I'm going to buy another GR02 for 99 RMB, That is SUPER cheap $15.68  WOW!!!!!!

On my own thread where I asked for best IEM for under £80 for House music I was told GR06 but on other threads people say GR07 is good for rock and vocals so that must mean its not that good for House correct?

What kind of house do you listen to? You may find that the GR06 may suit you better because it has more midbass, however the GR07 is a clear class above it in everything else. It just depends on what you want out of your music.

I listen to all kinds of house anbd trance. 
Sorry that was typo, i meant gr06 was said to be good for rock.
GR07 is above my price range.
Would the Image S4 or Nu Force 770 / 600 suit me better?

I haven't heard the 770, but I wouldn't recommend the S4 to anybody. The GR06 is truly a better iem all around. You'll like them for those genres.

I do of others that are good for Electronic music but they all cost over £100 and £40 for GR06 sounds bargain if they really are that good.
Plus with price going up it must be popular.
