Where can one buy something like this? Dont really have the skills to build one
Made from the same cable that I use on my T1, which was too long for my taste anyway. Great separation vs the normal HA200!

Yes there is, it only has a non def eatable 10db gain, so it is best used with DAC's that has a "pre-amp" function with a volume control.Hi
I just bought a Nuforce HA 200 from ebay
I have AKG Q701 64ohm and even if I max volume from both pc and amp the sound while being decently loud is far from ear shattering level. Even my ISDS nano BL gets higher.
Is there is something I should know ?
Tx
What amp do you use?I don't see myself spend even more than $150 (a chinese made brandless) class A amp.

Can you seriously hear the different between class AB and pure A? I don't see myself spend even more than $150 (a chinese made brandless) class A amp.
A Chinese unbranded amp built around L12-2. It's way underpowered by I can always upgrade it to increase wattage because of the way it's built from modular parts. What amp do you use?
If you need more gain, then use the headphone output from the iDSD instead of the lineout. Simple as that. There is no real risk to "double amping" as it were.
