As the subject says, I have an audio-technica ES88 that I like a lot, but the earpads are in bad shape. I've found it difficult to find replacements for them in the US.

I contacted audio-technica at parts@atus.com and received the response, "Unfortunately we no longer have these ear pads in stock. The only recommendation I would have is to look into a third-party vendor to see if one of them would sell some sort of aftermarket solution."

I managed to find what seemed like a potential source at https://www.audiotechnicashop.com/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=es88&product_id=578
However, they don't ship to the US.

Other than that, I have not been able to find anything, thus, this post.

Any advice would be very appreciated, I love these headphones but if I can't replace the earpads I'm not going to be able to keep using them.

If anyone else is in a similar situation, I've recently found it is not so difficult to find serviceable replacements.
Finding earpads that are exactly alike the originals is a different story, but if you just want earpads that are compatible, this link gets into decent detail in how to determine what can work. https://www.scansound.com/blog/how-to-determine-which-headphone-cushions-and-earpads-to-order/

To summarize, for circular earpieces, take the diameter of the earpiece with the earpad off. Then look for earpads with that diameter and a similar mounting method. In my case, https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-...gjK-9vGL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail&th=1 seems to work fine.
