I let my GF borrow my marshmallows with E2C foamies... and she somehow lost it to the doggies =(

Any new offerings that are pretty cheap and have the decent qualities of the marshmallows? bassy, isolation, comfortable, non-microphonic, etc.

looking to spend around ~$20-40...

just need a beater portable headphone to be used in the library and stuff... i might just end up buying the marshmallows again though =P

I am not recommending these, since I haven't heard them, but I do know of the existance of the FX-66...or the "Air Cushion". It is supposedly less microphonic with better sound. Although, I have heard that it doesn't isolate as well as the FX-33's.

That, and JVC is making the FX-34's. The next evolution of the Marshmallows. They are supposedly less microphonic with better sound.

You could wait and see what they got.
