New Head-Fier
Hi not sure if this is the correct forum I have a Go-Vibe v4 portable headphone amp with a broken DC jack (center pin came out) This amp works perfect with my PC and was hoping to repair it but i'm unsure what part# would work with it, I know the jack size is 1.3 mm based on the DC power adapter it came with (came with a 2.1 mm to 1.3 mm adapter) when browsing Mouser I've found 3 part#'s that look identical to the jack currently in the amp.
The differences between the 3 models is voltage & amp ratings and I wasn't sure if it's OK to use a higher than needed volt / amp rating or if I should be looking for something closer to the 12V DC power adapter that came with the amp, it also supports a 9V battery and not sure if this matters when deciding on part#
The person who built & sold me the amp doesnt seem to be reachable anymore including the email I used to setup the purchase (this was back in 2006 lol) his username on this forum was tigger (also known as Norm) any ideas would be super appreciated!
I've attached some photos of the stock dc adapter / dc jack & part's I've found on mouser.
