First, I would like to say that I'm not sure if this post belongs in the Source forum, and if not would a Mod will move or delete it? Thank-you.

Anyways, I've had a Marantz SA8260 SACD player for some years now (It was worth a lot more money when I first bought it

) and after all these years, I keep thinking about these Modifications I've seen on this site, referenceaudiomods.com. What particularly caught my eye was the Audiocom Superclock 4-S Clock ($295 installed) and the Transport Board Capacitor Upgrades ($100 installed). My question is, are these worth the price, or would it be cheaper just to ultimately get a new source? I chose the Transport Board mod because I'd like to get the Superclock and so long as I'm shipping it, might as well do them both? Also, dose anyone have any experience with this site (any equipment)?

Marantz SA8260 SACD Player Modifications: Reference Audio Mods

Thank-you!
