Hi,

Im running an m8-e3- atrio's

I like bass

Anyway my problem is hiss and very harsh highs, Im using the sptialisation function on the meizu m8 and specifically the phase correct eq

it really hurts my ears

I have an old impedance adaptor which seemed to sort it out...dont know why but the problem is that its broken, only left ear works when i plug my atrio's in

Any suggestions?

Well, you could always just get a new amp.  Something like the new E6, perhaps?  Its hiss should be minimal and it has a bass boost function.

Your problems with the harsh highs are probably just the earphone's fault though.  Other than EQ, the only other thing you can really do is buy new earphones too...

If you look at the price of the E3 and look at the cost of replacement AAAs don't you reach a point where replacing the batteries far outweighs the original cost of the amp? Reading between the lines do I get the impression that you are ready to upgrade to a better HP amp?
